Cliff Bell's in Detroit is a wonderful and historically rich place to dine prior to a night out at the Detroit Opera House. We went there to dine before attending the Rackham Choir and the Too Hot to Handel! holiday show. Fantastic!

Every year I head over to a few special spots on the shore of Haven Hill Lake in Highland State Recreation Area to take in the magnificent fall color palette. This morning the conditions were not perfect, but the forest surrounding the lake didn't disappoint.​
